Well..I don't always remember the blog page...like to read em though. Regarding the Aug.29 blog from ken...yes...something big is ALREADY happening at cciph. There were many reasons for the Lord creating the church on 'The Hill'. And, the BIG thing that is happening, is that those reasons are being fulfilled by the Lord's people. CCiPH is a truly international church...ministering not only to Price Hill, but to people all around the world...as seen by the great number of those..many CBC&S students..devoted to missions. Also, as the churches on the Hill were closing their doors due to the lack of interest, funds, or pastors, CCiPH is thriving as a church that BELONGS there, even though many of us live nowhere near the Hill. And the church continues to grow with the help of the LOCAL people who come through those doors. They come, knowing there is love there, and the different colors of the people are comforting. The diversity of the congregation is the greatest asset. And, as long as the Word is preached...without addition or subtraction, and Jesus is available to all, and our focus is OUTWARD, God will continue to bless His work there.
